So, he should have waited for AOTC or ROTS?
Watch the scene again with QGJ and Anakin from TPM where midi's are explained by QGJ.
So what your saying is that anyone watching the films in order will have to wait until EPIV to "learn" what the force is...
Serious? Think about it for a second. What would be Ben's purpose for telling Luke (on screen) about midichlorians? Why would anyone watching the films in order (1-6) need to hear about midichlorians again?
There is a poll over at Rebelscum.com asking if a "bootleg" set of the OOT DVD's were available, would you buy them? It seems that the fanatics are willing to support bootlegs in order to get their OOT on DVD. I voted for the non-bootleg of course. Anyway, below is the link...CAST YOUR VOTE...
OH YEAH!! This is the one I will be getting for sure. The book, the bust, the unique packaging, I'm all over it. Looks like I will have to pick up the other Gentle Giant minibusts as well to complete the collection though, but I think they will look good sitting next to my GG Star Wars...
I know what you mean Troy. I haven't heard anything since the announcement of ST:Generations, but I bet that First Contact will be in EX as well.
Recently though I watched The Butterfly Effect and that was an awesome experience in ES-Discrete. Pretty good movie too IMO. :)
Which is the whole purpose of this thread. ;) :)
Anyway, it seems some of the Denon receivers out there are incorrectly switching to EX or ES with the Cold Mountain DVD. I have tried the DVD on every brand we have at work, and only Denon was switching to EX or ES mode. Can't figure out why...
The SE is in DD-EX, and DTS-ES. It is listed on the cover. If DTS is selected your receiver or preamp should automatically switch to ES Discrete if it has that capability. :)
Aaron: A friend of mine rented it yesterday so we watched it in his theater without notice of any spitting coming from the center speaker. However I must point out that his theater consists of a complete Def-Tech set up, and we all know how revealing Def-Tech speakers are. ;) As funny as the...
Hi Aaron: Yeah I was one of the people who agreed with you on the Anger Management dvd, and in fact have the same speakers you do in my family room. I haven't watched Scary Movie yet, but I'll give it a rent, and see if it does the same thing on my Axiom set up, and then try it in my theater...
Correct. Also for anyone confused as to which previously released DVD's are in EX, ES Matrix or Discrete, I suggest reading through the thread first since discussion on these have already taken place. :)
A friend of mine rented this even after I told him about some of the aweful reviews, and I was like "OH GREAT!" I really had no desire to see it. I tell ya, after watching it, I was reminded that I should never listen to reviews. I thought this was a fun Saturday afternoon flick with some...
"I know that everyone hates endings like it" Boy, talk about pretentious. ;) I'm with you though on waiting for a three disc release or maybe even a Superbit, but until then I'll just watch the one I have. :)
