And if you truly believe that I'd like to sell you a "DVD Rewinder"! For Clair to get on the helicopter and be rescued the "switch" needed to be pushed. Now they made it sound like the only way that could happen was if Charlie died in the process, fine. However, the way they wrote the scene...
Who's to say the child isn't dead, or was even born at all? And let's say the child is alive, who's to say that the child even had a relationship with Juliet... Perhaps the child hated her or they had a falling out?
I'll say it for the 2nd time now (said it before on page 90 of this thread), the person in the coffin is... "Juliet"! Nobody likes her so nobody goes to her service, except Jack who likes her fine. As for her sister, she's died by then or has already died as we speak.
The show has worked fine for me right up to this dissapointing episode that was (in my opinion) either rushed or just really badly writen! It's only my opinion of course but like all of you here, I have a right to it!
For the most part, I didn't like it either... I don't see why idiot Charlie closed the door? The blast from the grenade didn't kill him therefor it wouldn't have killed Desmond either. He still could have flicked the switch, it would have taken more time to flood the place and both could have...
I'm still watching and have been since the first episode in 93 but the show is now a pale shadow of it's former self... The show has lasted long enough, it's time for it to go!
I don't have the "Criterion" but I do have the SE of this movie and have to date been quite satisfied with both the movie and the bonuses... Is it worth double dipping for this new edition? Keep in mind that I double dipped already on movies like "Gladiator" & "Kingdom of Heaven".
Anyone have any luck with the e-mail address? I'm on a respirator so it's hard for me to talk over the phone... I e-mailed them a few days ago but never got a responce?
Seems like the people in change of this thread/challenge not only missed my score (page 15) but also after 3 e-mails, just couldn't be bothered to fix the post and add my score... So I've decided to do it myself, took me all of 2 min. I can see now why no one had gotten to it yet...
Everyone from the "tail" section of the plane are now dead except for "Bernard"... I really hate these two new characters (among the original group) that they are now introducing us too!
Like previous years, I'm in for 13. If I can do more, I will. I will not make multiple post and simply update this post. All movies are greaded from 1 to 10. First time views will marked in RED. No reviews of individual movies though... I started this post late this year and just don't...
I just finished watching "A New Hope" (1977 version) on my "Toshiba 34HFX84" and used the zoom in option on my TV... They looked fine! Sure, the 2004 version looks much better but they were not horrible to watch like many speculated. Actually... I was surprised at how good they looked, I...
Next year's 2007 mega box set WON'T be in HD... The HD version of ST won't show up till 2010 for the 30th aniversary of "Empire". This will also give them time to see (or at the very least, to have a good idea) who will win the format war between HD-DVD and Blu Ray.
I agree, $39.99 U.S. comes to about $50.00 CAN and once you add taxes, the price will be around $60.00 CAN each... WAY too expensive! Many won't buy at that price! At this point, I still don't think HD-DVD has anything to worry about.
I am 32, I saw all three original movies at the theatre back in 83 when I was 8. I was too young when Ep. IV and V came out but a few months before Ep. VI was released, the local theatre decided to show Ep. IV & V back to back. My parents took me to see them and a few months later, took me to...
