Have you tried plugging the audio into the VDP (as you did before) and simply connecting to video directly to your tv? It sounds like youre using analog cables? Have you tried a digital cables? If so, same result?

Got $15 (a $5 and a $10) in the mail last week. I just joined in October and I already got two certs. So I guess they are getting a little better.

I think what Jon means is the menu for the actual movie, not your player. Every DTS disc that I played has required me to set that up each time. Look for an audio option or something of that sort, on the DVD menu. And set the audio to DTS. Hope that helps.
