Nailed it right there. But again, if this is a "party sub", then I doubt anyone is going to notice... however, if you ever intend on doing any critical listening with this, dont waste your time.
Another vote for the Tempest here.... great sub at a great price. You will get all the output you want with the Crown amp... Tempests are considered fairly under rated power wise. In a horn setup, 96 db sensitivity will get hella loud (to 123 Db @ 500 watts).
Foil will make no difference as it is the actual magnetic field off the magnet causeing the problem. You can get a second magnet to cancel the magnetic field, but they can be as expensive as if you just bought a more expensive sub. Just keep it away from your tv. ;)
Make sure you set a condition that you get a copy of the condo bylaws, and the purchase is subject to your approval of them. Youd be surprised by the stupid small things they put in there. ie: -No loud noise/music after certain hours (sometimes as early as 7:00pm) -No bags/boxes/etc...
Ive been getting more into this style of music lately, notably Enya and the Medieval Baebes... Im looking for more of a medieval celtic sound right now.. kinds like the stuff youd hear in movies stereotypical medieval pubs. Any suggestions?
Yeah, that littel "ghetto blaster" that was in there before is now going in the trash. Ive been meaning to disopse of that thing for years. :) Ahhh, married with children. Didnt they end up releasing the first season on DVD or something? Im going to have to find out. I miss that show.
Great speakers.. at least their older models were. Ive had little experience with the newer models mentined above.... Definately spend the buks and go to the reference line though if you can afford it. :)
A bar in the garage eh? Now THAT sounds like a great idea. :D Maybe I should put in a dance floor too? ;) Actually, now youve got me seriously thinking about plumbing in a wet bar. A bar fridge at teh very least. :D
Im completely stoked about this. Ive been listening to them for 5 or 6 years and have loved everytihnig they've done. These guys make my current Top 3 list for tunes to listen to. I cant wait now. :)
100 watts of earth shattering bass!! Capable down to 45hz!! I couldnt be happier!! Oh OK. I think Im the only one in the world who couldnt go without a subwoofer in the garage with my ceiling speakers. :p) For a cheapie ($65 CDN/$45US) subwoofer to kick around in the garage and...
I can only hope that Canada uses the same tact that was used by the US government when Canada had a single case of Mad Cow. I hope we close our borders to American beef. Japan already has.
Afterall, turnabout is fair play.
As was stated earlier, I think a great thing that you could do for your brother, is write him a letter. I was once similar to this young man you describe, and I know someone else who is even more like him. Both of us would loved to have recieved a letter from someone we cared about. Stroke...
I think they discontinued them due to lack of sales.... They sounded really good, just not extremely loud. The sensitivity was horrible, if I recall... They were common on the Sound Quality circut, as they were VERY accurate. Id pick one up if I was to get a good enough deal on it....
And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill, KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and he...
Wow, Im glad to see so many other NIN fans out there.... Im really looking forward to this album, as he has indicated previously thta he is going in a very different direction than he did with The Fragile. Not that I didnt like the Fragile, I just really enjoy watching NIN evolve... I just...
"Apparently the issue of Alternative Press with the year's most anticipated album (which is [sit down for this] Good Charlotte) has this to say about the NIN album: NINE INCH NALS TITLE: bleedthrough (NOTHING) EXPECT IT: "Soon." "The record explores loss and possible discovery of self,"...
I would be happy to answer your questions, however, I do work in CANADA as a manager in a large financial instituion. Because of that, our designations/education, etc could differ greatly. Let me know if you would still like me to answer some questions. My email is...
Sorry man, if it were January, I would be jumping all over this... alas, it is not January yet. :frowning: Great projector though! For anyone who doesnt know, this really is a good projo for that price. Good luck. :)
She just filmed her new DVD out that way, so Im sure shes going to be touring soon... Holly is actually the only artist like this that I listen to. Its very different from my other musical tastes... everything from classical, to ambiant, industrial to metal to thrash. Ill give that other...
