    Ah yes turns out it was the "ground loop" issue. I disconnected my cable box from the TV and it went away. Is there any kind of fix for this so that my cable box/computer don't have to be disconnected and reconnected all the time? Like some sort of RF on/off switch or something?

    Ah yes stupidity wins again, turns out when I shifted the reciever a little to plug in the RCA cables the plug for the sub got pulled out. That explains why nothing was getting sent to it haha. I probably would have realized this sooner had I actually used it for DVDs or games during this time...
