Hey I was watching Jurassic Park, the dolby digital version not the dts one, and the voices sounded really harsh. I mean almost half the time you could hear distortion in it... You can still make out the voices and all but it is just bothersome. I have heard this on two different home theaters...

Yeah that makes sense it just seems odd that the avr 225 has been pulled from listing on most of these sites while the 125,325,525, and 7200 are still listed and in stock.

Hey I was just wondering if anyone noticed that around a week ago the avr 225's availability on their authorized online retailer's sites is virtually nonexistent (except for crutchfield where it is a bit expensive) and if it is because it is being discontinued or something else?

yeah sorry my phrasing was bad i meant they both seem to pretty close as far as how you listed the pros and cons of them to your ears; while they both sound different it seems like they are pretty even to you when you average out what they have to offer.

Hey, just a suggestion but if the M&K and Paradigms are close to your ears and the M&K is much cheaper and being used on equipment similar to your own then why not go with the M&K. The Paradigm's probably won't sound as good if you are not using equipment on the level of what they are using.

Hi everyone, I was just curious if you just wanted a SVS subwoofer that went down to 20 hz only (not to 12) why wouldn't you just buy the 25-31, tune it to 20 hz with the port plugs and save $50? Would the actual length of the tube cause the sound to be any better in the case of the 20-39...

In my case it would turn off even when i disconnected all wires from the back of it since it had said in the manual of a possible speaker short problem i tried that. It's weird.

I took it out from its shelf and put it in an open area with all the vents clear and it did the same thing.

Hey, I got rolling diagonal lines with my xbox and sometimes with my dvd player and it is corrected for me by removing my cable TV connection or sometimes if u play with the wires it goes away as well, but its probably the cable TV.
