I spoke with someone at Sony recently and while the 3rd season is still a potential release, there hasn't been any dates set, yet. Season 1 is worth collecting, but yes it does suffer from heavy grain. Part of the problem is the original film stock though. Some of the best episodes are in...
With BLUERAY and HD DVDs coming out this year, why not have a directors cut of this film in that format? I think it'd be the perfect opportunity to release it.
WB: I'd like to add that Michael Rymer (the director of this film) is interested in doing a Director's Cut. Anne Rice films are a definite seller. Please consider doing this. Thanks, Kristin
You guys can still catch on just fine starting at season 2, but I do recommend collecting season 1 as well. There are many wonderful episodes in that season and it's quite fun to see Nick get hitched with Schanke as a partner. ;) Kristin
Yes, it's an excellent series. I think it is truly the best representation of vampires ever to grace tv. You can find season 1 at Best Buy, amazon.com buy.com walmart, etc. If you'd like to learn more about Forever Knight, please drop by my site: knightvision.4ever.cc Sony did a better job...
Warner Brothers: Fans of "Queen of the Damned" (Stuart Towsend, Aaliyah, etc) would like to see a "Director's Cut" release of the film. The director - Michael Rymer - has stated that the film had to be shortened drastically for its theatrical release. We'd like to see his full director's cut...
I'm happy to see the rumors I've been hearing were true. :) I just hope they don't compress this one so much and do indeed add extras. I know for a fact that the crew from FK has lost footage and they approached Sony about it. Also, Geraint Wyn Davies (Nick Knight) did some commentary work...
This was posted on the Sci-fi FK BBoard: ...................... Just got this reply from Sony. This is not a guarantee, as you know schedules can change or Sony can also change their mind if they feel that the demand isn't there. I have posted the reply here for you to see for yourself...
Wow, they expect that many? I hope they really don't expect that from a cult following like FK... Meanwhile, if you want to see the rest of the show I can help. Contact me at [email protected] to learn more. Kristin
Quinn at the official Geraint Wyn Davies (Nick Knight) website posted this recently: "So far, nothing has been announced by Sony but some preliminary work has been done for a second season set of DVDs. Still, that doesn't assure anything." I find it difficult to believe that sales were so...
