For anyone interested, it is worth noting that Wheel of Fortuna is having a "Marvel Superheroes" themed week this week with themed puzzles, set design and related prizes for the contestants.
It has been a while since I watched it, but I see no evidence whatsoever in the film to suggest that the events across the different universes aren't all real.
The biggest improvement they can make next year is codifying the fact that all Best Picture nominees must be read at the end of the show. This is so obvious that I am surprised it even needs to be said, but apparently it must be written in stone. It is ridiculous that this was not done this year.
