Stan I purchased the 1803 about a month ago hooked it up to some old speakers and it sounded like a clock radio. Then I went a purchased some energy take 5.1 speakers and it sounds GREAT!!!!!!! Very clear clean sound great with music and movies!!!!!

I purchased a Denon 1803 from Tweeter for $325.00 and it rocks. Great clear sound. I was afraid that the 80 watts would not do the job, but it is more than I need.

Have a Denon 900 dvd player and mits. widescreen projection tv. I played a new DVD "saving private ryan" special widescreen edition and there were no black bars. Is it playing full screen? or is this really widescreen that fill the screen? Thanks Glenn

Mike how do you like your take 5.2's? Do you run the sw crossover from your receiver? And if so what frenquence do you have the crossover set at (80-100-120)? Also do you run the speakers small or large in your set-up?
