Stan I purchased the 1803 about a month ago hooked it up to some old speakers and it sounded like a clock radio. Then I went a purchased some energy take 5.1 speakers and it sounds GREAT!!!!!!! Very clear clean sound great with music and movies!!!!!
I purchased a Denon 1803 from Tweeter for $325.00 and it rocks. Great clear sound. I was afraid that the 80 watts would not do the job, but it is more than I need.
Have a Denon 900 dvd player and mits. widescreen projection tv. I played a new DVD "saving private ryan" special widescreen edition and there were no black bars. Is it playing full screen? or is this really widescreen that fill the screen? Thanks Glenn
