This is a must buy for me too. I have had trouble tracking this disc down also. I called two different Best Buy stores and neither clerk could find it in their system. I finally found the SKU for it and called back one of them. It's SKU 9741425 in the Best Buy computer system. Hope that helps...
Thanks Will. I was hoping that there weren't a huge amount of edits on the DVD. After I saw the disclaimer I was starting to wonder if I had make a mistake in buying it. I for one DO NOT FAVOR ANY EDITS on DVDs but I guess this one is unavoidable. Thanks again.
I purchased the Wayne's World DVD recently and noticed that it mentions in tiny lettering on the back of the case that the music has been edited from the theatrical version. I don't think I own any other movie that has music edits so I found this a bit odd. Does anyone know what has been edited...
Well I'm glad to see that there are other people that are wanting this show on DVD in season sets too. I agree that this would be an easy one to release as it is only 2 seasons long. I also like it much better than The Addams Family.
I hope this is not too far off topic since this cartoon was mentioned in one of the other posts. Has anyone heard any news lately about the release of Tom and Jerry that was mentioned during last year's chat with Warner? Warner said that they were going to be releasing the early uncut Tom and...
I was not happy to see this news item. I for one am very interested in getting season sets of Andy Griffith and this looks to be more best-of crap. It is suppose to be Twelve TV shows across 2 DVDs the way I understand it. Oh well, I guess that this means season sets of Andy Griffith will be...
I have also been wanting this to be released on DVD in season sets. I have repeatedly emailed HBO about releasing this show on DVD in season sets and haven't received one reply from them. The re-release of the two Tales From The Crypt movies may mean that they are close to releasing the...
I agree. To me this is one of the best shows ever to grace the television set. I can't believe this show is not out on DVD yet. Obviously there are a lot of people that still like to watch it or it wouldn't be shown on TV as much as it is. Bring on the Season Sets!
I noticed that they are re-releasing the 2 Tales From the Crypt movies. Does anybody know if Universal owns the distribution rights for the T.V. series too?
Sorry if someone has pointed this out before but I read somewhere about the following site where you can vote to have SOS released on DVD. The link is on the left side of the page.
Go here to vote.
Of course be sure to vote for DVD. ;)
I have been trying to find this movie on dvd also to watch with my family. In my opinion it is a very good childrens movie and I also found it to be very entertaining and funny. I hope that it is reissued.
Somebody who will be participating in the chat on 4/22 please ask these clueless people at Warner why they haven't produced some boxed collections, in order of course, for their animated properties (BTAS, Justice League, Scooby-doo, Tom and Jerry, etc.). Oh, and you could ask where the...
Thanks for the input. I was just trying to figure out if these types of e-mails are actually read by someone that has something to do with how these DVDs are released. Maybe they will do some good.
Has anyone that has e-mailed Disney about season box sets received a response yet? I e-mailed them from two different e-mail addresses and still haven't gotten a response for either one.
I hope here in R1 we get complete collections of episodes in order. Judging by the way Warner has released their other cartoons (BTAS, Justice League, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo) I'm not counting on it. Why is Warner releasing these this way? I just despise this best-of, compilation, and...
