Now that the house is almost complete I was wondering what would be a good set up for the speakers. for all speakers, and receiver i am looking to spend around 1500-2000. i've heard good thing's about paradigm, but i know that i should listen to anything before i buy. On the receiver...
It is a great game. I bought the dreacast version and was hooked. I constantly played each level until I could reach the 4th stage without continuing. I have yet to beat the game and I can't carry a chain halfway into level three but I can get an S++ rating on level 1!
Have not done the 56-point convergance set yet, but the 1st thing I did do was tame down the contrast of the set( from one hundred to 30). I also did use the avia dvd after we hooked up the DVD-900, but yes the toshiba is replacing a 11 year old 36in sony direct view. Well I decided to rewatch...
Hey guys, My 65hdx82 finally arrived so I decided to break it in by watching some movies. Well I have seen about 15 DVDs now and I noticed that they all have the same size horizontal blackbars when viewed in full mode. In the manual it stated that anything that was 16:9 will be in that...
Thanks for the reply. I am using the HD inputs on the TV so running the Denon on progressive mode should be right. I also have found the reason why the colors were washed out and learned that the DVD player sets black level at some number and you can disable it once you have started the...
Guys my Toshiba 65hx82 arrived yesterday and I just realized that I don't have a progressive scan dvd player!
Regardless we hooked up the three year old sony dvd player using av cables and watched LotR. Sadly I was not too impressed:frowning: . The picture was very fuzzy and not sharp at...
I see that a lot of people are talking about the geometry of these tv's. I have a 27in Panasonic Tau and it has bad geometry problems. Is there anyway to fix these?
Hello all, I have a Panasonic 27 in flatscreen TV that has bad geometry issues. The left and right edges of the screen are wobbly and the top and bottom edges are bowed inward(especially while watching widesrceen movies) is there any way this can be corrected and then prevented?
Hey greggor, several people have reported a hiss comming from their stock speakers. Does your TV do this also? This is comming from posts off of hometheaterspot.com
I have a panasonic 27in flat, It has a really good picture and it also has a component input. It got it for $400 from bestbuy then they had a special. But if you consider saving more you could get one. only problem i have have had with it is geometry related. the edges are all messed up. is...
Hey guys is there anyway to order an hdx82 series tv from onecall over the phone? Some people over at hometheaterspot.com said to ask for Jason. I did try calling before and oneperson said I could order it, but when I called again they said no you cannot. This forced me to look somewhere else.
i get disc read errors only when i play dvd movies, it's bad to because it ruined a lot of good movies for me( royal tenebaums, amelie, pi, and requiem for a dream)
Well we do have a sliding glass door, but... it's on the back of the house! The website I plan to order from has curbside delivery only. Toshiba lists the tv's weight as 250lb. This should not be a problem unless the TV box is unwieldy. I guess I will have to get some people to help me.
I am pretty much decided on buying a toshiba 57hdx82, but what i would like to know is how is it going to get inside the house? what if it is just to big to fit into the door?
i have heard of dlp tv's, i saw them on the pansonic website but those were in the 10,000 range!! i think i have settled on the toshiba 57hx81, i found it for 2200, any reason not to get it, i am really new at HDTV so any help would be welcomed.
