I am new to this whole HDTV thing. I saw an antenna at Radio Shack that was HDTV capable but it only came with a coaxial cable. Is that correct? I was expecting component cables.
Just got a new sony KV32HS510. I am really impressed with the picture when the source is HD, however for regular non-HD sources (which is what I watch about 90% of the time) the picture is often blurry. Probably because of the aggressive DRC. There is no way to turn it off as far as I can tell...
Just changed out my 520 with a 525. I really like the 525 better. I really think they did a better job with the pre-amp section of the 525. The sound seems much fuller than before. The 520 is a great unit too. But I couldn't be happier with my 525. Except that the first unit was defective.
Thats strange. I even tried to get them to pay for it and they refused. Here is their policy from their website: http://ww3.onecall.com/Policies.mpt?Pos=122
Overall satisfied with my experience with onecall. Although you do have to pay for the shipping back to them if your gear turns out to be defective. That was a little annoying.
No, I am sure the tuner is defective. I just upgraded from a HK520. Same location. Even tried my old antenna. I called HK and they agreed that it was defective. Although he said that he has never heard of a 525 with a defective FM tuner. I was the first. Oh well. Onecall is shipping me...
I just received my HK525 from Onecall. Hooked it up and it sounded great. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried the FM tuner. It seeks continuously and never stops on a channel. Good grief. I hope there is an easy fix for this. I spent two hours installing that thing. I sure don't feel...
When in bridged mode. I wanted to order the Axiom M80 towers. They are 4 ohm speakers. Do any PA2000/4000 owners have 4 ohm speakers running in bridged mode? Thanks.
I have a Directv receiver with an optical output. Some shows are in DD5.1. The problem I have is that the HK520 will detect the DD5.1 signal like it should (when its available), but when I switch to a show that isn't in DD the HK520 will switch to "Surround Off" rather than PLII. Is there a...
I really don't care for Ebay for HT items. I don't feel like watching an auction for 6 days so I might get a slight discount on a previously used item. And then after 5 days, some retard submits a bid that is equivalent to the price of a new item.
I have found a few good deals there, but I...

If I were you, I would go with the High Res all the way around instead of the HC6.
Center-AR4C ($150)
Mains and Surrounds- AR15 ($400 total)
Sub- Sony SAWM40 ($150)
Total cost = $700. Thats about $200 more than the HC6 but well worth it.
I have the HC2 (and love it) but if I...
I was considering the Divas. However, the looks of the speaker would severely clash with the rest of my living room.
Not too fond of the current exterior. It looks like a Keebler elf is about to pop out of one of the woofers.
Hopefully they will come out with a black exterior one of...
At first I preferred DPLII to Logic 7, but now that my speakers have fully broken in, there is no contest. I love Logic 7. Can't wait to upgrade to a 6.1 system.
As far as digital goes, I prefer DTS to DD. But they are both pretty good.
I have a PA4000 and have been very happy with it. You can get the PA2000 (same amp only 2 channels) for $200-300. I believe I saw it on Ubid for $189 (refurbished).
After auditioning several brands for my center and mains, I came away the most impressed with Klipsch. I usually only use my system for HT and I thought Klipsch was perfect for that use.
My only concern is build quality. How many of you Klipsch owners have had a problem with your speakers...

I haven't listened to the new LSi mains yet. I listened to a couple different RT mains. This Circuit City didn't have any LSis hooked up. But I was very impressed with the RT1000i.
I rarely use my system for music. Pretty much straight HT. The center channel is where almost all dialog is reproduced. So I am more interested in getting a better CC.
But I do see your point about matching the mains to the cc. I listened to a few polk mains that sounded excellent. I...
