My brother doesn't believe in the power of the HTF. He remembers a movie, it might have been black and white, likely from the 50's or 60's. But what he remembers is this: There was a giant flaming head of Satan or some other demonic force and the hero destroyed it with the arm of a crane...
The Season 2 set wasn't in production order so much as it was corrected from the broadcast order. Two episodes accidentally got switched I think when it was originally broadcast. All that matters is that the DVD is in the correct order, and it's best to watch it that way.
I was up until 4:30AM playing Bioshock last night. Awesome. Totally immersive. Exciting. Fun. Beautiful environments. I'd enter a room and just spend time looking around at everything. I finally got to take on my first Big Daddy (I told myself no quitting until I face off with one) and it was...
Personally, I thought it sucked. I mean, really, isn't the whole ambiguous, cut-to-black make-up-your-own-ending thing a cliche in itself by now? I feel ripped off and I don't care about making my own ending. If I wanted to do that I'd be writing my own damn show. I've given this show a whole...
Watched it last night and watching again tonight via DVR. If you have Discovery HD and are not watching this, you are seriously missing out. I'm looking forward to seeing it weekly for the next few Sundays.
It took me a while to respond to this because I wasn't sure of my fifth but after I just saw the new trailer on Live, it goes: 1. Halo 3 2. Bioshock 3. Assasin's Creed 4. GTA IV 5. and now, Darkness!
"Moronic horror-comedy"? Sounds good to me! The fact that it's being compared to early Peter Jackson (and with gory effects by Weta) makes me take notice. Is it coming out in the States?
It's BACK!! New episodes start this Wednesday night at 10! Here's the blurb from southparkstudios.com.
Oooh! Controversy! Midgets everywhere will be pissed!
Borat for best adapted screenplay? I thought the movie was hilarious, but was there even a script?!! Oh that's right, they give it Best Adapted because it was popular and they had to give it something, but they can't give it one of the "big" ones, no sir. Further proof that the Acadamy...
I have this on my list of must-have titles for 2007, along with Halo 3 (duh!), GTA4 and Assassin's Creed. I love the idea that there's many different ways you can go about dealing with the enemies in the game. I've never played System Shock, but this looks like a totally original type of game to...
Gotta add now, the "Roadie run" in Gears of War. I had to see that "embedded journalist" angle for myself. Too cool! And the rest of the game too. Co-op campaign ruled! Gonna play me some multiplayer tonight. Tag: Markusschmarkus
No difference. It happened to me while playing online. Not a big deal, but I had to tell my friend not to venture out of the completed area until I could find stray ammo.
Just watched tonight after my DVR didn't record last night and this episode turned out great! I was a little concerned after the first part when they reveal a kid has cancer that such a downer subject would ruin the episode, but then after considering what they were going for, it had me...
I joined my friend's game, and when I went back to my own it started where I had left off when I went to join him. His game, after going back to it, remained where we both left off. Nice review, by the way. I love the reload slider. It's like a little mini-game in the middle of a battle. Like...
I played it for the first time last night and I can tell you that it is DEFINITELY worth the hype. I joined up to a friend's game for co-op (nice how you can invite a friend to join into your single-player game; no backing out to menus or separate co-op experience) and after playing for only...
I'm gonna get this soon myself, although I balked at the almost 30 dollar price tag today. Maybe I can find it for less around X-mas. One question though, does this contain the Sebben & Sebben orientation video episode? That one was the best.
I noticed during the Buck Rogers opening that the spinning Cartman seemed to be a little off, like it would move off-center and move back, like it was a sloppy effect. Anybody else notice? And I might be crazy but it seems like that it was animated that way to be exactly mimicking the same...
Got mine in March, manufactured 1/22/06. In late September (after I got Saints Row, hmmmm...) it started freezing up. Soon it would freeze when just playing music using the dashboard. It went down for good (red lights of death) September 30th and I called MS that day. I got the coffin in...
Ha! I can still hum that song. It had the coolest bassline! I had the game on the old Atari 5200 of all things. Then one day it broke. Speaking of game music, I remember getting Pitfall II for the Atari 2600 and hearing that music for the first time. That had to be the most sophisticated...
I had to rewind the whole third act because I couldn't stop laughing at the sight of Beth a.k.a. Dawg's Bitch. Here it is a day later, and I'm still laughing just picturing her, short and squat, waddling along with boobs up to her eyes and her little arms sticking out the sides, like she was...
I liked it. I liked the Hardley boys and the chocolate hot dog in the urinal. Both were irreverent, and added the laughs. What got me really laughing was all the 9/11 stuff. No hidden meanings there, I think it was pretty cut-and-dry. They say people that believe that a massive coverup...
Well, it's known that Matt and Trey are gamers, so I don't think it was a total knock, just a knock on those who take it way too seriously. And apparently, Blizzard was contacted by them and they loved the idea and sent over a team to set it up under Trey's direction. I was afraid after...
