I would advise caution with JVC. All of their recent progressive scan players have sub-title problems with the Phantom Menace DVD.

I would have to recommend against the JVC. While the Interlaced picture is fine in my opinion (I think the 'files are a little picky here) it has a problem with certain sub-title functions. The prevalent example is missing sub-titles on the Phantom Menace when you have scenes where the aliens...
