There is gold in them thar hills !!!
Here's a little something I came across, while reading a press release about an announcement that's going to come today, about an earnings statement for the fourth quarter, 2001 results for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. !
"Martha Stewart Living...
For me it's Linda Vester.
She has the 130PM to 330PM shift at FOX Newschannel.
I had the opportunity of meeting and talking with her. She is one of those people that's RIGHT THERE when you talk to them. Besides she's cute!
I recently picked up an official 2CD set of Deep Purple, "Live at the Rotterdam Ahoy, 30th October 2000". This is from their "Concerto 2000" with Ronnie James Dio on board for four songs.
It's sound is awesome and testament that the old guys still "have it" !
Getting a little extreme, DRUDGE has also posted an "after" photo and a "before" picture...

Looks like she wanted a COMPLETELY NEW look!
Here's a pic of her "new" look.

I must say it is different...but she still needs lots of work in the personality department! Maybe electric shock therapy will improve on that.
I can see her doing the morning talk show tour already..."The FOX Morning Show", of...

Joseph, I mean the Blondey that is on their morning shift, usually with the big eyes and the New York Look. Very mouthy, if you know what I mean...talkative.

Definitely no Catherine Crier !!!
She's probably going to have an exclusive unveiling...if that's what it's called...the first day of her show.
FOX NEWS has got to get SOMETHING out ot this thing, right ?
Well, I guess the consensus is that everyone, at least the Fans, are looking forward to getting this movie from the grubby little picture manipulators at TBS/TNT ?
Exactly.
That's why I wonder when I find a story that's circulating about stuff like this, especially when it's in the...ahem,
"legitimate Media"...as if ANYTHING we find being publicized is innocent and the Media is legitimate... and
ahem, "news".
While you can debate, just why we should all care why a female news personality gets an eye fixup for her new Tv job, this story is interesting in that I feel, Van Sustern should have gotten a Personality "Lift"...or would that be a frontal lobotomy ? Greta had that deer-in-the-headlights look...
If anyone is a Fan or cares...I don't watch late night Tv except for Conan...I mean is there ANYONE on who's really more entertaining than Conan ?

Doug, you should check out "Expresso Bongo" on KINO...great classic Rock and Roll story, and acting by Cliff and Lawrence Harvey! New Wave British film meets "Sweet Smell of Success" !
Seger seems to have gone into semi-seclusion, at least music release wise, with his on again off again committment to a new album of songs that everyone has been looking forward to since 1998 ! Sad, because he has the classic Rock and Roll singing voice, and coupled with his usually competent...
Thanks for the heads-up !
Two great all time great musical stories...I love that firecracker routine by Fred in "Holiday Inn"...along with lots of other great songs, especially "White Christmas" !
The whole concept of what a movie/Tv soundtrack has changed over the years...from those composed by a few top Hollywood specialists, who had a real grip on the Business for along time...all the way to putting together seemingly disparate music artists to create a whole ambience complimentary to...
Thank you very much, Mike, for your comments. I especially liked your comments about the Stones.
While we always have something to say about The Big Ones...it seems to me, The Others usually enjoy a relationship that can be best described as...you either like them or not, and if you do, you...
Guess I will be playing "42nd Street" for a while...
What is Everyone's general feeling about the Musicals that ARE on DVD...like the Rogers & Hammerstein Collection, the old MGM titles on Warner Bros., etc. ?
For the Dead, I'm usually not interested in anything past their "Anthem of the Sun" period.
"Live Dead"...the remaster of same included in "The Golden Road" set, "Bear's Choice", and the whole of "So Many Roads" box set, plus various "Dick's Picks" releases confirm their place...FIRMLY...in...
