Don't forget the Fallout series. Anachronox is another good choice. Arx Fatalis is out now too. Enclave is coming to PC in Jan. But definetly, Planescape Torment is the best.
My personal faves: Halo (obviously) Enclave (hard but gorgeous and rewarding) Oddworld (Loved this title) Morrowind if you like exploring and RPGs Buffy
Let's see:
1. A fresh approach to RPG, I'm starting to get real sick of elves and druids. I liked what Nihilistic was doing with Vampire the Masquerade just wish someone would take it to the next level.
2. Something where I am a nobody, then suddenly two days or a month later I am a god. Oh...
38 here.
There is no way in hell video game playing would stop for me. :) Seeing as I make them....it's our bread and butter.
"I'm just doing research baby!" :D
marriage doesn't stop your videogame playing. Now adding kids to the mix. I think that would seriously impede it.
Paul, just...
I'm going to have to agree with Troy. Compared to the EA game this just pales in comparison. It's sort of like the Cliff Notes version of FOTR with inferior artwork. I found the stuttering framerate to be poor considering what they were drawing on the screen. Additionally, the environments look...
XBOx: Splinter Cell Malice Brute Force Bloodrayne PS2: Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness (will believe it when it ships) Lord of the Rings (EA) Ratchet and Clank PC: NOFL2 Arx Fatalis Gothic II Morrowind Tribunal (fixes that damn quest journal) Unreal 2 (still says mid Nov)...
Still think Link 2k3 looks like the Herbie the Dentist elf from that Rudolph the RedNose Reindeer Rankin/Bass Xmas show.

That being said, it's Zelda, and for me that's enough to...
I'm about 35% thru Starfox and I am loving it. The gameplay reminds of Zelda, but I also see alot of Rayman 2 and Oddworld: Munch. The engine and Art Direction is excellent (using just about every graphical trick a team can use) and I found their UI to be unique and intuitive. Additionally...
I thought it was the EA ---MOVIE---- games coming out on 10/22? that's called LOTR: The Two Towers. and has a story that covers FOTR and the Two Towers.
Entirely different game. Much more realistic and more grim with the dark muted tones of the movie. I was watching some gameplay movies over...
My advice to you is to read Desslocks guide on Morrowind
which can be found here:

I would recommend downloading some player written plugins
Go to Link Removed or http://www.morrowindfiles.com/
There are some truly excellent ones...
ICO (kinda short but thoroughly compelling) Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance (play together, it rocks) Drakan (female lead RPG with lots of exploring) Summoner 2 (female lead RPG with lots of exploring) All excellent titles. Also may want to consider: Sly Cooper Maximo Final Fantasy X...
Let's not forget: Splinter Cell Peter Moleunx's Project Ego Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I'd say these are definetly AAA Also looking forward to: Blade 2 Terminator: Dawn of Fate LOTR BloodRayne Vexx Malice Reign of Fire Whacked
For reasons know only to myself, does anyone know who owns the rights to Willy Wonka?
I remember vaguely something about a modernized retelling of Wonka or perhaps it was a sequel? Was Warners doing it?
Is R. Dahl still alive? Wouldn't he ultimately own the rights to it?
Thanks in advance.
I enjoyed it very much. I had a few niggling issues with the camera and a couple of the vehicle sequences are a pain but overall no regrets playing it for 15 hours.
They captured the atmosphere very well.
And yes I played Batman Returns on the SNES. A great game!
Superior Art Direction on...
I might go...last year's E3 sucked the life out of me. Get kinda tired of fighting the crowds and man do my feet hurt after all that walking. Heh. Had more fun at the IMAX 3d showing of Haunted Mansion on Universal Studiowalk.
Let's see what's looking interesting this year:
Project Ego
FFXI...
