Does anyone know where i can buy a non-flipper version of amadeus R2. The UK version is the flipper, but I've read 2 reviews on DVD reviewer and it seems some other european countries have a Dual Layer version.

Don't know about R2 but the R1 has an excellent anamorphic transfer and DTS audio, which is missing from R2 (as usual). If you order it make sure it's the enhanced widescren version as there is an older non-anamorphic release also. If you can play R1 I'd order it and forget about the R2...

I have had a 16:9 set for 2 years now and I haven't seen any evidence of 'burn-in' from showing 4:3 images in their original aspect ratio. I live in the UK and I would say about 3/4 of the time my TV is on it is in 4:3 with black borders at the sides, the rest being 16:9 or DVDs.
