That reciever can driver the Monitor 9's, but I am not sure about the studio's. Since the Elite 41TX can drive my monitor 9's without issue, the 811 should do the same job. (Very similar if not the same reciever).

Canon A40 is a great camera and has some very advanced features for a 2 MegaPixel camera. Very nice. Which ever camera you get you will need a new (larger) memory card with a week. Especially for the holidays.

The Axioms are very good. I have paradigm speakers and after hearing the axioms, I may have gone that route over my paradigm Monitor 9's CC-350 and mini monitors. M3Ti is at least on par with the Paradigm Mini Monitor. Great price too.
