I use Cinema EX.B for most movies. You can adjust individual volume levels for center, right, left, rear, subwoofer. My Cinema EX.B is very different from the original settings. Play around with your volume settings until you get something that fits your speakers and room. Steve

I also notice a difference in the black top to bottom on my WS-55411 with 2:35.1. It also seems that it can vary some from different DVD's. Really it doesn't bother me, if I'm lookng at those black lines it's not a good movie! :D Sure like my Mitsubishi.
