Well... looks like the Ranch has weighed in on the Star Wars DVD insert scans. Lucasfilm politely asked that they be removed from the site that originally posted them, which is a surefire hint that they hit pretty close to home. Just FYI.
I wonder if the producers of the U.S. version of BB3 might follow the Dutch and English version by splitting the house into a rich side and a poor side?

IMHO the divide has caused some great drama and has stopped certain housemates from 'drifting away'
Just a quick question about Six Foot Under and Alias. Are they filmed for widescreen viewing? Thats all thanks Jonathan p.s. feel free mods to lock this down after a reply is given. Thanks again
There was a thread in the TV section of this forum, where I posted about the use of 16:9 adverts in the UK.

The theme from the Great Escape is an unofficial anthem for the English soccer team.
At every England game there is a official supporters band which plays various songs, before/during and after a game, to build up the fans.
One of them is the theme from the Great Escape. It is a very...
I believe that all ads in the UK now have to be made 16:9 I'm not sure if its a legal requirement or just a collective agreement.
Maybe somebody else might know?
Joe, is there any word on whether the 16:9 versions of B5 for a future DVD release will have corrected effects shots? I know that there has been some concern about this in the past.
Well over in the U.K. we traditionaly run straight through programs in order(Both UK and US). But now we're stuck waited for more episodes from the US.
On a more negative side, the wait now means that Channel 4 in the UK has to show panned and $camed version they receive via satalite link...
Do we know how Chris Carter wants it to be shown?
I only ask because just recently Joss Wheldon(Creator of Buffy and Angel) talked about how he sees the presentation of his two series.
For Buffy, even thought it has a widescreen version available, Wheldon felt, that with the exception of one...
I'm not 100% sure but I believe the trailer had problems with music clearance. Therefore the trailer was withdrawn from theatres and a more generic track was put on it.
I believe this was the reason why the only trailer on the internet at the begining was a bootleg copy.
Hope this helps...
Ok first of all you'll need a electrical transformer to play your dvd player in England. Our plugs are 3 pin not 2, so you'll need a converter.
Second, most medium priced television will accept a NTSC signal from your player.
Thirdly, dvds bought in the UK will be for region 2 use only and...
Well I can't be exact, since I don't have a copy, but I believe that the version of The Gathering on DVD, is the revised version shown when B5 moved to TNT and not the original version. That would explain the notice, I hope :)
This is a question for Peter Staddon and any other members of the forum who might be in the know.
If I remember correctly Peter, you once commented on the M*A*S*H laughter free track and how it was hard to come by.
Is it possible to describe how you came to be able to get the elements to...
