The drivers arriving next week are a version of the CSS 4" (shown at CES) which were done for a potential OEM who doesn't require the shielding. These will be available for listening on the 17th at Adire. Driver development requires "Extremis" patience. Bob

Update, We will have measurements, etc. early next week. I think if we measured the walls with and without bracing there would be a difference. Whether it is significant or audible is hard to say. We've included it and it with the spacers makes assembly very much easier. Bob

FYI Adire is working on a whole bunch of new XBL^2 drivers including a 6.5" mid/woofer and a tweeter. XBL^2 can be applied to most driver designs except planars. Regards Bob Creative Sound Solutions
