This is great news. Hoped it would come out before 2003. DVD File has a bit more information up about the DVD and states that there will be DTS as well as Dolby Digital 5.1 Tracks. Christmas is going to be great! ...and expensive too

Haven't gotten around to purchasing Amadeus on DVD. One of my favorite films of all time. Haven't seen the Director's Cut as I don't recall it ever getting released anywhere near me. Hopefully I will enjoy this new cut as much as I enjoyed the original as I have already pre-ordered it.

Looks to me to be exactly the same as the US release with a heftier price tag. I could probably import that same release from the US for about $120 - 130AU compared to the $175AU listed at EzyDVD. Still going to stick with the 4 - Disc anyways from the US.

The set looks fantastic. However because the show hasn't even come to Australia yet I was wondering what the show is like. Because I always enjoy war movies and was a fan of Saving Private Ryan. So is it worth buying sight unseen? Thanks in advance guys.
