I loved this film...had a ball and it tickled my Universal Monster fancy. I picked up the three disc Ultimate Collectors Edition at FYE for $29.99 with a rebate coupon for $7...so total cost for the set is $22.99...not bad for 4 films and the juicy extras...tonight is going to be fun :) John

I do the same thing with a season set...binge TV DVD watching. I did it recently with Millennium, Keen Eddie and Boomtown. Then I go back and savor each episode after I have watched any extras or commentary. I love TV on DVD. I am currrently renting all the released seasons of Angel...

Hate it...they better get Bana back on that cover. :)

Boomtown Season One

I had a yard sale last weekend. I had Forever Young (FS), Godzilla (WS) and Planet of the Apes (WS-Mark Wahlberg)...each for $4...the only one that sold was the Full Screen Forever Young.

UPDATE ON Sony Wega color banding problem w/563A To anybody who is having this component input color banding problem on their SONY Wega or XBR...you can easily fix this problem via the television's service menu using the remote. You need to adjust the HOSC setting from the factory pre-set...

Update on color banding isues: OK..just got back from BB and exchanged it for another of the same unit. Hooked it up via component again and still have the color banding in interlaced mode. Never had this problem with the Philips 963SA and I was using the identical Signal Component cable...

Went to Best Buy in Manhattan yesterday...they had 6 of em so I picked one up for $179. Got it all hooked up and so far have only listened to several redbook and a few SACDs (Police, Bruce Live in NYC and DSOTM)...all sound great. Threw several of my CD-Rs at it and they played beautifully...

Glad I found this thread, In the case of the Kenwood 6070...what type of splitter would I shop for to split the back surround output between the two back surround speakers? I have one on the way along with a pair of Infinity OWS1s for the rears to upgrade my current 5.1 HT. Thanks- John
