Is HDMI the better way to connect up my PC. I currently use component outputs from my ATI card. And I can run 1920 x 1080 with everything on high. Frame rates 50 -100 depending on what game I play.
I just picked up the SB Fatality card. It sounds great on the PC 5.1 speakers. I get sound out of all 6 speakers on everygame. BF2, CSS... But when hooking it up to my Integra receiver with analog cables. I get sound out of every speaker except for the sub. I can't figure out why. CSS does 5.1
I just picked up the Sony 400 DVD changer for the same reasons. So far its working well. It will read most of the DVD titles and add them to the list. If not, I have a keyboard hooked up for easy input.
I meant returning the RTi12's :) I never listened to the RTi8's, I first demo'ed the RTi10's. Didn't like the mid-bass, which is why I opted for the RTi12's I already have a sub. Hmm...could I just send a signal to only the mids and high's on the RTi12's? It would be like the RTi8's then I...
Thanks, Doesn't look like my Integra is enough. Maye I should just take them back and save some $$$. Power Output* (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 Khz, FTC) Front L/R 130 W/Ch Center 130 W Surround L/R 130 W/Ch Surround Back 130 W/Ch (L/R) Power Output* (6 ohm, 1 Khz,Ftc) Front L/R...
Going to have to try them on Bipole How much power do you think would be good for the RTi12? I am going to try them on large tonight. My Intega is rated @ 150 watts. So I hope thats enough. :dunno:
So far so good. But I just got them. Well, I chose the FXi because the sides are a bit close. And didn't want a direct speaker overpowering the other side. The rears aren't as loud, so opted for the direct sound.
I just picked up that exact set-up yesterday. :) But I am running the FXi5's as my surrounds and RTI6's as my rear surround's I am very impressed with the sound. I first listened to the LSi's but they sounded muddle and not very bright. The RTi's sounded so much better.
I plan on replacing the broke adapter. But I don't know how to get that pin out. Its a tight fit. If I can find an exact replacement, I will do that. I also emailed Energy.
Not sure where to post this. But I have a Energy Microstar 12.1. The RCA cable that plugs into the female jack on the sub broke off in the jack. The pin is still inside. Any idea where I can get a replacement jack??
Well I picked this up Ant from Radio Shack Ant
From what I understand, if you are receiving the signal. A better Ant. won't help. Its all or nothing.
Don't forget, not all programming is in HD. I was watching a few shows in Digital. Looked prety good, then CSI came on in HD. WOW...
Thanks, I think I have it all figured out. I now get all the local HD channels. So if ABC is broadcasting the SuperBowl in DD I will receive DD using OTA. I won't need to subscribe to my local cable company. Thanks alot!
I was able to get a couple of channels in HD (PBS). But the channel #'s do not match the ones on Antennaweb.org I want to find ABC, any suggestions? Also I assume you cannot receive DD using OTA.
