Last night's episode, "Yoko" was the best one since the debut. The "If You're Into It" song had me laughing so hard I had to keep rewinding and rewatching to get it all. In the buff Being rude Dong stuff With the food Both songs and the whole episode can be viewed at...
That was funnier than a screendoor on a battleship. Go, Bif, Go! "How's Crispen Glover? Never talk to him." Here is the myspace link: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1109190012
I'm no Nascar fan. If anything, I'm probably anti-Nascar. Like Ben, I was not excited when I heard about the Cars story and and did not have high expectations. Given that, I was not expecting to like this movie as much as I did. I loved it! I won't go into where I rank this compared to other...
In my opinion, this was one of the best Pixar films. I'd probably put it right behind the two Toy Storys as my 3rd favorite. You know what they say about opinions though ;-)
I was disappointed with last night's episode. I thought Dwight's behavior was inconsistent with his character, and too much over the top. This week was better than the Conference episode last week, but other than the premiere, the Office has really let me down this season.
I am a weak man. I was so going to wait to watch season 3 on UHD, but I couldn't do it. Just added the season pass for SciFi channel. Looking forward tonight, though with a touch of self-loathing.
Quick update on blueorganizer from www.adaptiveblue.com It is now in public beta and has some cool new features like being able to share your collections via RSS or with "bluebadge" widgets (for blogs, myspace, etc)
Color me optimistic too. Lest we not forget that Bill Lawrence also a big part of Spin City, another great show. As for Zach Braff as Fletch, I really think it could work. -Andy
I've been a fairly strong supporter of CYE through the years, but in reading through this thread I can't even remember what the season 5 finale was about, though I must have watched it. I guess that says something about season (or maybe I'm just getting old) I hope they do do a season 6...
The wife, my 4 year old son, my 2.5 year old daughter, and I saw Cars this past weekend, and we all loved it. For my daughter it was her first movie in a theater, which is special thing. The movie struck a nice balance between warmth and action. All the subtle things (many that I'm sure I...
I'm working with a company that is developing a Firefox addin to track your various collections. Right now, you can track DVD's, CD's, books, and electronics. The way it works is that you go to a movies page on a supported site such as imdb or amazon and push a toolbar button. The tool...
I'm a relative noob to console gaming, so should make a good target for any decent gamers out there ;-) Gamertag: AndyVegas Live Games: Halo2 Crimson Skies Star Wars Battlefront FIFA 2005
I just called Turk and was surprised when one of the writers answered the phone. I had a nice chat with him. He told me that in about an hour or so, members of the cast might be answering the phone.
Some news on a development for season 4: According to this article Clark will fly in the season opener.
Here is the quote: After a ratings decline and fan complaints about Smallville last season, Superman will fly in the opener, violating a stated "no tights, no flights" rule...
FWIW, I bought a refurbed 430 a short while ago, and so far it is working fine. Time will tell, but at least I can sleep well at night for the next 2 years while it is under warranty.
I always thought it would be cool if DVD players had some sort of flash memory (either built in and accessible through perhaps a LAN port or as a card) on which you could store such an intro. That way, you could play it before each movie, and not have to bother with changing DVD's inbetween.
I can't speak from personal experience, but this is what it says on Axiom's website: "The products offered here may have a slight blemish, but they are absolutely PERFECT in every other aspect of their sound performance ---- they have absolutely no operational problems or sound performance...
The third team was called The Goats since they had goatees. Of the final three teams, I'm glad that Chip & Reichen won. They played the game well and didn't need to rely on too many lucky breaks. I did think they were in trouble when they told the cab driver to take them to the domestic...
They are called the Goats because they gave goatees. I was sad to see the clowns go. From the start, they were the most likeable team. I had a bad feeling when they did an ominous slow-mo shot of Al hanging up the phone with the travel agent. On the Early Show this morning they said they...
This show was great. Despite what it says in the challenge thread, my early favorites are: John & Al - The clowns (classic nose balancing trick) Steve & Josh - Father / Son (Josh is crafty)
Once Steve started crying, I knew I was in trouble. I screamed, "There's no crying in the Amazing Race!" to no avail. Then Debra set the record for slowest speed ever when crossing the wire. I expected the models to climb over her. Oh well. Hey, since no one else has them, can I take the...
This plot was much more effective when it was in A Bug's Life. The people on the planet = The ants The Klingons = The grasshoppers The Enterprise Crew = The circus bugs I was surprised that Trip or Archer did not come up with the idea of building a giant bird to scare away the Klingons...
I've sent several e-mails to TWC, and none have been answered. I was actually at their office yesterday (to exchange my SA 2100 box for the newer SA 3100) and asked the counter drone, and she had no idea. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.
I have the older SA 2000 series box, and it does pass a 5.1 signal. The biggest problem though is that the the HD channels don't show up in the guide, so the only way to get to them is to punch in the channel numbers. It took me a while to find them all: 201: PBS 211: NBC 217: ABC 250: Fox...
