what model do you have and how do you like it? in the market for one to buy this weekend :)

i was looking at the s video out on my card and noticed that it has 6 holes NOT 4 like the 4 prong svideo cables that i own. needless to say, none of my cables plug into this jack. i've turned up nothing as far as adapters on google either. any advice?

it's annoying and i'm afraid i might damage something in the electronics if i don't do something about this. the outlet is located near my kitchen (i live in an apt.) and is the only outlet on that side of the wall where the HT setup is. i have a surge protector, albeit not an expensive one, but...

when i try and run the setup.exe for MP demo i get "could not initialize installation (crc)". what the heck is that and what do i do now? i've d/loaded the file from two different places now....

hi all. for the past couple of weeks said player has been starting to have problems... during a movie, the picture will freeze, then the player will jump back a few chapters. i DO have the firmware upgrade for this player and it has had no lipsynch problems or any other problems up until now...

i'm having trouble finding large enough sheets of black foam board for making the mattes. my rptv is 50" and this stuff only comes in 20" by 30". any suggestions?? ------------------ Patrick

i've had my 50" Mits for about 5 years now and it has never seen an ISF tech or been cleaned. i've been into HT for about 2 years and just can't afford to have it calibrated just yet, BUT i would like to clean the inside myself. could someone please link me or give any tips on cleaning (duh)...
