In an attempt to manage and simplify my family's CD collection, I want to purchase a CD Megachanger from Sony. Besides the extra 100 discs, are there any features on the CX-455 that are a "must have" over the CX-355? Is the extra $100 worth it? Any information would be helpful.

Try contacting your cable company to see if they have a cable box that supports stereo output. If not, you can run the RF coaxial output from your old cable box to a stereo VCR and use the line level outputs from the VCR to your receiver to achieve stereo sound.
