This is true, but on a tight budget it can still work. If you find yourself in this position (inexpensive TV with only 1 set of video in/s-video jack) you can spend another $30 and get a 4 channel video switcher that will allow 4 more items to run thru the same single set of audio ins.

Another vote for Lexol. The natuzzi couch I got came with a "Guardsman" leather car package also. Seemed to work pretty well too, but not available in stores. I did have the chance to use the ink-lifter, stick that came with it for my car (light tan) leather once and it worked WONDERS.

Jeff, I looked at the Sony (it was my 1st choice), but it wouldn't fit into my entertainment center since Sony puts the speakers on the sides. I wound up going with the Toshiba 34" HDTV Cinema Series 34HDX82 model. I love this TV. Oddly enoughi I have an Infinity setup all around as well...

Okay, now I see the problem...I think you can just get a set of y cables like Jeff G suggested to split the audio connections coming off the box. When you switch video inputs on the tv the audio will go out to both, but I don't think it'll cause any problem since it should be switched off...

Rob, I'm a little confused. I have a similar Tosh HDTV and Cablevision with the Scientific Atlanta Box (4200HD). I have a set of HDTV video outs (component video) with a set of HDTV audio outs. I also have a 5.1 coax digital out, and s-video outs with separate s-video audio outs. I'm not sure...

Some cable boxes have audio line outputs, as well as a 5.1 Coax output. If you are not using a cable box, then the answer again would be via the VCR. Use the VCR as your TV tuner and use the Audio outs from the VCR to the receiver.

I have Panamax Telemax 2 which I use for my Subwoofer that is not plugged onto the same circuit as the rest of my HT. The rest of my system is protected by a Panamax Max 1000+.

I got my 34HDX82 about a year ago and I love it.

Digital outs won't always help either. I have a 5.1 out on mine, but they don't always broadcast 5.1. Only on advertised programs will you get a 5.1 feed out of them.
