Thanks for everyone's input. Rajee, I notice that you use an external amp with your 49TX. Do you find the internal Pioneer amps weak or unacceptable? Purchasing an external amp with my new receiver will not be possible at this time, so I'm wondering if the Pioneer is a little under powered?

Ed, Yes, that's the one. So far, I'm able to get ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS. You have to move it around to a bit to tune in the different stations, but it is working well. I watched NYPD Blue in HD Tuesday night, and it was very cool! Good luck.

John, Thanks for your suggestion. I tried the Radio Shack double bowtie antenna and it works great! I was able to watch ABC and CBS HD last night. HDTV is very cool!
