You definitly know who doesn't have any vacation days. I just burned all of mine with the birth of our newest family member a couple of weeks ago. Man... my work place looks like a theater that's showing a revival of "the Cabin Boy"
Here in Illinois we are required to have both front and back plate.
Here's how I got around that:
A few years ago my wife was driving my car and accidentally bumped the front plate with the post in front of a parking space, dented the plate and cracked the plastic mount.
I took it off and...
1. Fifth Element - best picture from dark space scenes to colorful city scenes.
2. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - wonderful cinematography.
3. Shrek - great animation and comedy relief.
There is nothing like a sophisticated British girl (I should know, I married one).
The top of my list is Naomi Watts.
She first caught my eye in "Tank Girl" as Jet Girl and in "Mulholland Drive"
I also second the vote for Jennifer Connely.... nice backside and pouty lips!
Ouch... my brain hurts.
This is just like the scene in Animal House when they are talking about micro-universes.

BAH!! none of your problems are worse than my wife's.
She has cramps, nausea, upset stomach, back aches, pinched nerves, and is tired all the time.
But she'll be O.K., in about 9 months!

Max - that is funny. Link Removed
It is my opinion that we should applaude MCA/Universal for this. How many other production companies would do this?
They could have just pulled a Cats and Dogs...
Andy, If you plan on getting VE, wait until November when the ALL NEW Digital Video Essentials comes out.
They have added some more elements for calibration and tweeking.

I watched TPM with DD-EX over the weekend with my 6.1 system (with 2 surrounds).
Just out of curiosity, I watched it again last night with the rear surrounds turned off.
IMO, the addition of the rears were definitely noticed, especially during the pod race scene.
It seemed to add more...
I've been trying to come up with a witty name.
My wife just calls it "your stupid room in the basement"
Go figure.
Thinking of going with "the Entertainer"

Well... I just got my DVD today and nothing but an offer to get a free DVD when buying SW and 2 others, nothng about the pre-order offer.
I called Amazon and they told me that the form must be missing and to call Buena Vista .
I'll try in the morning.
Any one else order from Amazon and not...
Was the offer for a free DVD when pre-ordering Snow White only for Best Buy? Or was it for all Pre-purchases, no matter where bought?
I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and could have sworn they had the ad about getting the free DVD.
Any one know?
Thanks
a good source for good in-wall (CL3) speaker cable is Parts Express
This is the cable I used in my HT. I doubled up the 4 conductors into 2 (creates approximately 10 gauge).
It's a great price and the cable is just as good as Monster or others.

Maybe I should add that this should be done in addition to a letter writing campaign to the corporations.
A 2 front offensive?
I keep forgetting that some companies/business don't listen to their employees for feedback. These are usually the ones that only look at the bottom line...
Calvin, you've been reading your bible lately, haven't you?

Gregg! good to see you finally updated your website.
I had much fun at your get-together back at the beginning of September.
I still laugh when I think of when we were leaving and I said "thanks for coming". I was still thinking of the great lobster and shellfish and didn't have my mind and...

One time my wife (who is a social worker and works with troubled kids in foster care) had to transport on of her foster kids, a 15 year old girl. She had to stop and get gas at a truck stop in Southern Illinois.
With all the windows rolled down and Aerosmith on the radio, She was singing out...
reminds me of the time my snake got loose from its cage and crawled into the port of my Infinity speakers (SM112 ?)

I can tell you that the HTD Level3 Bookshelves will not disappoint in the music area. They are, by far, not the best and greatest, but for $200 they are better than most may think.
The only problem is that some people say they are "bright" sounding. Yes they are, a bit, until they are broken...
