I've been looking to get a popcorn maker too but had questiona about the steam or possible splatter. How much is put out and will it affect the placement of the machine, that is, keep away from walls and low ceilings? Will the steam have any affect on walls or ceiling? And what about ventalation...

Personally, I like the tabs. They can use these instead of the 3 anti-theft labels (1 on top and bottom, 2 on the side) and when you get them home, they're not needed to keep the case closed, just easily break them off. Or for those with kids, keep them on so they cannot open the case and play...

They also need to get rid of the "Modified to fit YOUR TV" as this is wrong for those with widescreen TVs. They should say "Modified to fit a 4:3 ratio TV".

My major problem is with the "fill your screen" part. To those with a widescreen tv, this is absolutely false.
