I would have to start off with the thanksgiving day parade now it is in HD my wife would insist. Then I would have to be flat out stupid not to say Football. Avatar would be perfect to break it in! Cheers!
No offense to you or Sony but.... Hack it ... who the hell cares? If we played by Sony's rules we would all pay for every time we turned our machines on.
Does it update them to do anything in particular? Edit: "As part of our commitment to provide world-class service to our customers, Toshiba is supplying this firmware update for use by purchasers of Toshiba HD DVD Player models listed above. This firmware update improves support for...
Holy Crap- I liked Robotech- I have watched much of Macross.... I never ... ever could have the time or interest to post something like this. You sir deserve a standing ovation :stands: Take a poweraide you must be thirsty.
Sorry you don't like it. I love it. As far as anything else I would just uninstall it and it and redownload it. I am sure there are mirrors all over that still have 2.x up. Justin
I can relight your memory. Both games have nothing to do with angels or devils. They are all about Max Payne and his tormented life and slow motion shooting. The only thing they incorporated from the games was Max Payne monologue voice overs during the scene and Mona the character from the...
Yeah that would be nice. I could use my universal Remote for my bluray given I only have my ps3 for blu and it is bluetooth. Who's jacked up idea was that anyways?!
Well that will help dissipate the higher cost to produce bluray and then nullify whatever advantage HD DVD had in cost structure. I firmly believe that if they had taken advantage of the cost structure and priced their media accordingly lower they could have truly put up a good fight and perhaps...
What do you use for a surge protector or the like? Some do some power filtering I wouldn't hurt to get a dedicated power conditioner or at least a battery backup that supports AVR (Auto voltage regulation). If these problems aren't repeatable all the time at the exact same spot at least that...
I always like that show when I was a little younger. Very strange though. I blatantly used lots of fake backgrounds and made no attempt to hide it all. Should be an interesting view.
Image processors are not all created equal and the quality of the deinterlacing process is not perfect artifacts can and do occur. Progressive output ensures no distortion between one field of view and the next. Edit: Having said that some TV's do a great job and you may not ever notice but...
I saw this posted recently on some gaming sites. They have tried to make it darker for sure in the preopening sequence. I hope that they do the same with the game play. I like the stylized graphics and blood. It is a bit wishful thinking that they would do that but if they did. What a comeback...
When some of the standards were set for HDTV they were set for AC-3 Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. As you may have picked up from some of the DD VS. DTS debates DTS is much less compressed. But there is only so much bandwith out there to go around DTS just eats up a lot of space. While it is...
From what I can recall about the big guy from earlier works he did kind of have an Egyptian begining though I can't verify if what this show did his beginings justice. In the 90's Xmen cartoon it did present Apocalypse as a creature that has always existed or has always been (which of course...
After he came out of the tomb he pretty much took everyone out with that shockwave. He proceeded past the group of mutants as they were layed out and started out towards the timeship. Magneto tried to get up to stop him from entering the ship but one more of those claps took him out. Then he was...
I was watching Ebert earlier and saw his review for Metropolis. It looks like a stunning piece of animation. Does anyone know of any DVD future for this movie so far. His review was for a subtitled theatrical run I believe.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
Justin
That helped reduce it a good deal. Is there something I can by perhaps to put directly over the top portion of the covering of my tv case to inhibit the magnetic distortion?
Or perhaps sending it into the shop and having it looked at given something slid out of place on the inside.
Thanks...
I am having difficulty with a TV of mine. It is a 27 inch Panasonic set. It has a problem with the upper right hand corner with what looks to be a magnetic distortion. I have a magnetically shielded center channel on top of my entertainment center. If I move it away I can notice a difference...
It is his DVD player. I have a Sony that will occasionally do the same thing. It is a glitch in his player. When ever it does crop up - you can fast forward for a second and then press play or perhaps it was pause and then play (one of the two combinations work).
Irritating as hell isn't it...
Yeah I figured some would say that Kenwoods "oomph" wouldn't be enough. Power ratings aren't realistic I suppose.
Just out of curiousity. What would be most peoples complaints with Kenwood recievers on the whole compared to their counter parts?
Justin
Good lord you guys are killing me here! That is the first thing anyone puts into their comments...
::: I don't much care for Bose :::
That being said. Let me answer your question.
Keith- I have been visiting this forum for 2 and a half years and I know the landscape lol.
I anticipated...
I am going to build a new system from hand me downs. My father is getting a new Bose set and is loaning me his 901's. I was debating getting that Kenwood HTB 504 prior to this. I am still thinking about buying that Kenwood Receiver from that system for myself. It supports Dolby Prologic 2...
