Just recently, my Pioneer 919 stopped putting out usable video with LD only. DVD playback is normal. The LD picture rolls horizonataly. Sound is normal. The player-generated on-screen titles ("PLAY" "STOP", etc) also are distorted until I switch to DVD mode. I've tried this on a number of...
