The multi-channel is producing sound in the surround channels. Sound is as expected for the surrounds. Not sure about Atmos? PCM Stereo Track sounds great. Packaging is nice and picture quality is fine. Does anyone know what the defect is? Based upon sampling, everything is as expected.

My 4k disc arrived last Friday. I used the digital code to save digital copt to VUDU and it only provided an HDX quality file. VUDU shows a 4k upgrade for $ 19.95. I also used digital code for Paramont's WAR OF THE WORLDS and it did provide a 4k file on my VUDU library. Anyone else have this...

I like the VUDU disc plus digital option which provides digital copy prior to disc release date and disc on or slightly before release sate and shipped by INGRAM for walmart.

Got this title yesterday and gave it a try. I had not read this thread. Well, this is absolutely the worst transfer on Blu-Ray that I have seen. Green edge fringes everywhere. Not-watchable. This is a shame as it is a fine movie. How could a reputable company release such a bad transfer.

There seem to be various renditions of the overture with significant variations in the color tone and saturation over the years of releases. Does anyone know if the new and corrected Blu-ray is accurate and indeed reflects the original intent as shown in the original roadshow presentations?

This disc looked beautiful and detailed on my system which includes a Marantz VP15 projector and 8 ft Firehawk screen. Also noted a slightly high contrast. My player is OPPO 93 and sound processor is DENON AVP-A1HDCI. I watched the film in its entirety and noted no sound sync problems.
