Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an HDMI connection basically just a DVI-D connection with audio as well? I believe you'd have to get an HDMI->DVI adapter that basically takes the DVI part of the HDMI signal and isolates it... then connect a DVI cable from the adapter to the PJ... Hope I'm...

As far as I know, the only theaters in my neighbourhood (a city near Toronto, Canada) are your usual multiplex style setups... :frowning: Having read the experiences most of you have had with these nice theaters makes me wish we had one here. I'm getting kinda tired with the somewhat sub-par...

You're doing fine, Scott. :) Sometimes I think what makes someone a film buff is whether they can appreciate all films for what they are, rather than sticking to one or two very specific genres or styles of film. I believe it's our love of the medium and what it can do that make us film buffs...

I've always had the impression that the difference between CD and vinyl can be easily heard on a good set of headphones... you could grab a $50 set of Sennheiser cans, and the difference between the 2 formats would be night and day. Now, if a $50 set of headphones can do that, why would you need...
