The benefit of my soundbar is that it is 9.1.2 atmos. There is no 3.1 system that can touch it for surround immersion. I want it to be 9.2.2.

Right, but I listen to 90% of content at the same volume level. And wouldn't mind adjusting 2 volumes when I do want it louder.

I am aware that this sounds odd. I have a samsung q910 soundbar that I really like except for it needs a second sub. If I was willing to buy a receiver solely for the purpose of adding a sub to my soundbar, could the receiver hook up to the arc port on my TV and then pass the atmos signal on to...
