What's weird is.. I just bought a blu-ray and when watching a netflix movie... it doesn't switch to Logic 7

Thanks Gene.. That's what I'm figuring. I even tried hooking up analog cables along with the coaxial cable to video 2, but the coaxial dominates. I am only running a 2.1 speaker set up.. and Logic 7 just sounds like crap. really frustrating... I love this receiver and my AVR80 before this...

I just had Directv installed. For all non DD content the receiver automatically switches to Logic 7 and I would rather have it automatically switch to Dolby PLII. Doesn't seem to want to do that for me and it's driving me nuts! Can this be done? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks in...

Ed, That was my thought process also. I have component cables and tried them but I only get a 480p signal when they are used instead of 720p or 1080i with the HDMI. Are component cables supposed to be able to carry a 720p or 1080i signal? I've been out of the loop a while and not sure.. maybe...

It seems that every time I watch a dvd.. at some point during the flick the picture will go black for a second or two. The sound will continue but no picture. I thought that it was my dvd player which was a Sony 5 disc changer until I changed it out with a Toshiba A3 HD player and it happens...

I am thinking about getting a Velo DLS4000 sub. I've been demoing the DLS3750 and like what I hear but would like just a little more impact. I haven't been hanging out at the HTF too much lately... so I did a search and there is very little mention of Velodyne. No good?
