Bluray and Roku are connected by HDMI to my Panasonic Plasma TV, that has HDMI inputs. I will split the HDMI from the Roku, with a 2 way splitter- One to TV then use an HDMI to Optical adapter to the Onkyo receiver. Monoprice is working on finding the adapter, if they have one that will work.

There is a connection for a rear center channel on my 5/1 Onkyo TXSR-700 receiver. Since it is labled as a 5/1 receiver, how does this location apply ? Has anyone connected and used this speaker location ? Is it worth the extra cost for what I will gain from it ?

About every diagram for setting up speakers for a 5/1 system show the rear speakers in back of a couch or seating area. Let's face it, none of the homes I see, including mine, have room enough to move a couch that much away from the back wall. Where would be the best placement of rear/rear...
