thanks Mike and Travis on asnwering the Evil Dead question. I 'have" that one already via netflix. I'm not trying to shoot the messenger, but it doesn't seems like much of a sale, its been around $10 for years.

"If I never knew you" was my favorite song as well. It hurts me to have to pass, but since there's no option for seamless branching and that reprise part is missing, it would be a waste of money for me to buy it.

I loved it. Yes there were many changes from the broadway musical version, but most of the songs are there, a few new ones and some missing ones. If you love 80s pop rock, check it out. sing along, and enjoy the good time.

WOW, is that Chirstian Bale in Newies? he looks the same, hard to believe since he was probably 16 when it was filmed. I didnt know he was in that. Does he sing?

Tavis R. Thanks for the best buy trading info. Do they have some common dvds that they wont take? Do you think best buy would give a problem using the coupons on any movie bluray. The post has a list of ellgible bluray for the coupon, do they overlook that list and give you $5 off any bluray...

thanks Travis, it was a long time ago and yeah I remember John Wayne vaguely, but I wasn't sure if it was just a dream. its like the version of "Big" I saw in the theaters had the girl turn into a kid also at the end. Will look for the Gremlins 2 easter egg on my dvd soon.

great news, I prefer this one to the original, its more fun, more action, and faster paced. Also I like the red head boss actress, I think this was her only movie. my 6 year old son also likes part 2 and he will be happy to know we'll be getting it on bluray

thanks all for the info. I naively assumed the budget included advertising/marketing and all other expenses. Surprised they didn't make action figures. They probably would have been pretty bad for 1991 though.

thanks for the review. I found it interesting that while the Rocketeer is often called a box office failure, it actually wasn't according to box office mojo. It's budget was 35 million and it earned 46 million. also there's no international numbers listed. also with inflation adjusted box office...

thanks for the videos Adam, Ever since I saw the Rocketeer back in 1991 when someone asks me "how do I look" I say like a hood ornament. That's a lot of confused people over the last 20 years.
