Ok...I can see how some might like the one "nightlife" scene with the dancers....but even that couldn't jump start most people's pacemaker... The movie is a low-budget "artistic" movie, and shows it. I have a pretty wide range of movie likes, and have seen hundreds of them that border on "I...
I guess I have to apologize to my wife about all those terrible things I said to her about "Legends of the Fall" being the worst movie of all time, a boring, "chick-flick", etc. Last night, we rented and loaded "Lost in Translation" into the DVD player with great anticipation of seeing a new...
For a 14' X 15' Room, 100" might seem a bit too much for some.... I have a 100" screen in a 16 X 21 room - seems perfect to me and according to anyone who's seen it - (maybe 25 people). Ceiling height also comes into play, particularly in consideration of your seating plans. If you have...
I think there are now a number of folks like you, Gregg, who will wait on the sidelines a few months to see if Voom even lasts for the long term. There have been countless problems with hardware and installs, and perhaps the future will bring less aggrevation to get this service. They'll also...

Today, the FCC got court concurrence that they can continue to push forward with their plans for an HDTV mandate in the next few years. Here are the specifics. This can only help motivate HDTV content providers to comply: Dow Jones Business News Court Upholds FCC Mandate for Digital Tuners...
Someone had asked me a few weeks ago about speculated new HDTV channels, particularly on DirecTV or Dish. I finally dug up the information he requested. In addition, I assembled (in one place) what I've seen on the "front burner" for HDTV in the months ahead. The following information...
