I almost purchase this receiver and glad that I didn't because I don't want just pass through HDMI. I want to go with less cable as much as possible. I always thought that to get 7.1 sound you have to connect it via HDMI cable only. Is the 7.1 sound on this a virtual only not real 7.1?

Unfortuanately they're no indicator on the clock. It sync with no problem during spring but it's always the fall that it sync a week later. If my memory serve me well I believe this is the second time that it didnd't sync.

Even if they broadcast it in 1080P. FOX and ABC signal will only gonna upconvert from 720p to 1080p unless they upgrade their equipments to 1080P.
