I am in a similar situation. Check out Panasonic. They were making a set with speakers on the bottom. The set was under 28 inches wide and about 19 inches deep. I don't remember the height.
What about JandR in NY. I know they are an authorized BM store. What if I go to the store and audition the unit. I have them ship it to me in NJ to avoid NY sales tax. Where does that leave me?
I know Denon and Pioner make receivers that allow you have 5.1 audio and a stero feed with different sources at the same time. It is called dual zone. Check out the denon and pioneer sites.
My wife a has corporate deal with J+R thru work. I got a price quote on a 3802 and it was a good price. I did not ask him if he would ship or if I would pick it up. I did not buy any unit. Anyone know what the 3803 will have on it?
I read the Denon Warrenty information on their web site and see which dealers can sell over the web but I still have a question. If I buy a receiver from an authorized B+M store and have them ship it to me, does that make the warrenty no good?
