What I like to know is if Jonathan Lynn was involved with the transfer. Peter Weir approved the 4K transfer for The Truman Show (although this came from Paramount without a remastered Blu-ray).
Is this in error? Are they really going to have both cuts, commentary, deleted scenes, and the theatrical trailer only on 4K? This is a significant upgrade.
I'd be very surprised if this has not been discussed already, but I wanted to bring attention to the fact that you can now find this (and a separate set containing Seasons 6-8) on the Australian distributor's website.

I was supposed to see this film in high school, but later saw it (only once) on TCM. I did like the '68 version and have been wanting to see it again due to all the interest surrounding this getting a Blu-ray release - especially from Andrew Budgell. (Thanks Andy!) Rick Steves shot an episode...
