Hey, My local Best Buy has a 42" Panasonic Viera 42S1 open box on sale for $599. Any thoughts on this television? The picture quality looked great but I am hearing the Panasonics have a lot of trouble with the deep blacks doubling. I'm trying to find a 42" 1080p TV for under $700.

I'm buying an SVS S-series complete system with a PB12-NSD subwoofer for my home theater. Im using an Onkyo 876 as my receiver. Any recommendations on speaker wire and sub cable? Also, I need to find a surge protector/power conditioner for all my electronics. Any recommendations on that?

What size do you recommend? It's probably 10' away actually. I would like 1080p. I will be using the television most of the time for reg cable viewing and movies on TV. The projector will be mainly for blu-ray.

Hey, I'm looking for a flat panel television for under or around $500 to use in my home theater when I don't use my projector. The TV has to be High Def and atleast 32" I guess since I will be about 12' or so away. Any ideas?

Congrats on your new system!! I can't wait to get the SVS speakers! The only downside I see as of now is the remote control fact of the PS3. I need to be able to control everything by a single IR controller that I plan to mount by the center channel.
