My speakers are original Energy Take 5's. I sit 9 feet away from my screen and my speakers are currently 5 feet apart from each other. Should I move them? Thanks.
I recently set up my first flickr page and would love some feedback on my photos. So if any of you care to take a look that would be great. Thanks Here's the link http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwadian/
Well, I plan on upgrading my movies to HD-DVD/BluRay the same way that I've been upgrading from a bare bones dvd to a special edition dvd of the same title. For example; when I bought the new version of Seven to replace my original copy I wasn't all bent out of shape and worried about replacing...
It sounds like there are many films I still need to discover. Perhaps the elitist in me is just looking forward to the new freshness HD-DVD will provide. When only a few people had DVDs it felt different than it does today. If that makes sense.
Do any of you feel like I do? That once Star Wars finally comes out most of the fun of dvd collecting will have passed. I know we'll still have the Disney platinum releases but gone will be the days of anticipating a major catalogue release. Heck I remember when Best Buy only had one shelf...
Is it safe to assume that the special edition of Batman will come out next year to promote the release of Batman Begins? Oh and along with a free movie ticket inside too?

Tonight I bought T2 Extreme edition even though I already have the Ultimate edition because I finally have a hdtv :) and I'm getting really avid about Picture quality. Well anyhow I love the Picture on the Extreme Edition but I've always loved the DTS sound on the Ultimate Edition. So I...
Sorry if this is off topic for this area. But NickSoune's post about the original DVDs got my memory going. Does anyone else remember the infomercials that were shown for DVD in 97? What manufacturer was it?
I met Gunar Hansen (Leatherface) at a haunted house in ohio. He signed my Texas Chainsaw Massacre dvd on the disc and on the paper under the plastic. He was very nice, which was weird seeing as how i'd only seen him kill people before.
Well, I once read that Toy Story 2 was supposed to be a direct to video release but Disney thought it was good enough for a theatrical release. Same thing for Peter Pan: Return to Neverland. That should give you some idea of the quality of the movies that Disney only releases on home video.:)
