I use the Harmony 880. What I really want to know, if I use a ir flasher over the sensor on the LCD screen, will it work and where is the sensor located on the HD-A2?

I currently have the RCA unit which has the infrared receiver in the upper right LCD screen. I am in the process of putting my equipment out of sight and going with an infrared control repeater system. Will a stick on repeater work on the LCD screen over the sensor? Never have used this system...

Not yet... and RCA is still showing ver. 1.4 for download on their site. I would guess Toshiba would need at least 25 to 30,000 CDs.

Did I ask a stupid question? I know Toshiba(HD-DVD) and Samsung HD(BR) as far as I can tell will not play DVD-A. If RCA will play DVD-A, that will influence me towards RCA as I have several DVD-A Cds.

The RCA HD-DVD says in the specs that it will also play DVD-A. Is it the only machine (be it HD-DVD or BR) that will play this format?

And yes the Dish HD receivers (211,411 and 622) have HDMI connection as well as component with optical cable hookup to receiver for audio.
