    I have a Sharp 9000 and I recently got it up and running after moving into our new house. I am using the Comcast HDDVR box for TV. After watching TV for awhile, exactly half the screen becomes unwatchable as green blotches permeate the image. Seems to occur where light changes (ie smoke)...

    Well, turns out I have DVI-D. Bummer. So I guess I need a transcoder if I want this to work. Has anyone heard of Petr's HDC2 transcoder? I can't find anything on it, so I'm not sure of the quality.

    I have a Sharp z9000 projector and I want to use the VGA input because that's a straight pass thru and doesn't use any conversions which allows best picture to be attained. I will be feeding it it's native resolution of 1280x720. I just got the Comcast 6412 which does not have a VGA output...

    Ahhh dang. Looks like I'll have to re-hang one of my side MMGWs. I didn't know they had a front and back so one is hung properly, while the other is not. Bummer! Better get my fish out again... Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it. Drew

    That's great guys, thanks for the info. I will call Magnepan and ask for the friction pins. Now, you mentioned making sure the correct side of the speaker is facing towards the listener. Which side is that? I thought it didn't matter. Obviously I'm a Maggie newbie! :-) Thanks again Dean...

    Thanks Alan for the reply. I've actually spoken with Dean via email regarding the ceiling mounted Maggies. He really helped me out and they look great. So it sounds like it won't really matter if the MMGWs are higher than listening height because of their intended use (rear surrounds)...
