Just saw it last night -- I'm motivated today to watch again just to see if I should have had so many goosebumps!
The soundtrack worked very well in my room -- I had a presence clearly running around in the floor above me; that nearly gave me heart failure.
I watched this movie alone in...
I've learned that the 3200 will not do DTS 96/24.
The 3200 is made in Japan, the 2200 in Malaysia.
The 3200 has main-in/pre-outs which permits you to hookup an external crossover (in a subwoofer, for example) or an equalizer. So you can potentially blend your mains with your sub better, and...
I thought I'd make my next upgrade step into separates, but my dealer is offering me a $318 upgrade path to the Yamaha RX-V3200 receiver (I currently have the next model down). This is an enticing situation. Am I crazy for not doing this quick and fairly inexpensive upgrade?

I have not heard any Diva speaker, though I have a pal not too far from me who has the 6.1, r3. 2.1 full setup. I may still bring my M22s over to his house for sh*ts 'n giggles. I suppose I would've tried the Divas but I first stumbled...
M22s with a sub for 2-channel -- I like the deep stuff. I'm going M22s all around (even center) for 6.1. Stay tuned. Next up, the killer low end upgrade, hmmm....
