It's a very solid buy for the Romero/Knightriders fan. Features a great commentary by Romero, his wife, Tom Savini, and a few others. It's a gem of an obscure film.

I seem to remember that, early on in the film, in the scene where Emmet and his mom meet Gretchen Fox, the mom says something like "I'd appreciate it....if you'd fall off the dock." That doesn't seem to be in the DVD..can anyone help/confirm with this? Unless I'm mistaken, but I have seen it...

It might be one of those movies where the movie is pushed up in the frame to allow more room for subtitles.

Other than a few cameos and fleeting references, Brain Candy has NOTHING to do with the KITH series. I actually thought this was a good idea becaus eit allowed them to write something fresh and interesting rather than just relying on old gimmicks.

Actually, I noticed that "official" TV calibration levels were too dark for Episode 1, but the THX Optimode set up makes it look normal (ignoring the big EE complaints)

Well, I don't want to get your hope sup, but I would image you're safe. For 99% of the people having problems, it starts right at the beginning from the first dialogue.

It's a good DVD. Great commentary track too.
