"The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz" is a classic widescreen film that has never even been released letterboxed. It's crazy that the best Canadian film ever made gets this kind of treatment.

What ever you want to say about this film doesn't hide the fact that it is a more realistic and honest depiction of the old south then "Gone With The Wind". That is one of the many reasons most white people hate this film and yes the Blu-ray does stink.
The latest 1960's Merv episode hacked out "Cambridge Circus". Cambridge Circus consisted of John Cleese and Graham Chapman (Pre-Monty Python) and other British comics. It certainly would have been horrible for us to see their U.S. TV debut. Thanks a lot Get-TV!
I guess since you have worked with library music companies you will have no problem sending me information about all the lawsuits that studio have been hit with over 50 year old stock music cues. It seems funny that no other studio seems to have many problems with cutting 50 year old music cues...
Amazon has currently stopped selling them due to complaints, but they still allow others to sell them. If CBS wanted to build up some bad will they have managed to do it BIG TIME.
